PapersMPSA 2014 Presentation: Values; Attitudes and Participation in Mexico
This research examines the values, attitudes, and political participation in Mexico, focusing on different generational cohorts in relation to their political behaviors. The study posits that there are significant differences in political participation between the generations shaped by distinct party systems, particularly in their engagement in both electoral and non-electoral forms of political action. The implications of materialist and post-materialist values on participation patterns are also explored, offering insights into the evolution of democratic culture in Mexico.
